Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Put this in my 2 year old son's room... he adores it and so does everyone else! It really is adorable once constructed. There are a few pieces to screw together when it arrives. Takes about 15 min. The only issue is that it takes one 60w light bulb, and that's not a whole lotta light. So be sure to have other lighting in the room, otherwise the room doesn't feel very bright.
