From the Quoizel lighting collection, this quietly ornate table lamp features lush Art Nouveau styling. Base is in a burnished Rossa finish. Shade is in amber etched glass. When illuminated the lamp emits an invitingly soft light.

The lamp is beautiful and extremely well-made. I took the suggestion of others and used low-wattage bulbs (25 watt or less) to showcase the shade. However, if you want to use the lamp for reading in a low light area you will need to use a higher watt bulb. I love the lamp so much I've ordered the floor lamp and a second table lamp.

We have two of these lamps. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. Their design works well in both areas and really compliments our Craftsman-style decor. In the living room, its an accent lamp and we use 7.5 watt full based night lights. The amber tone of the shade is shown off extremely well with these lower wattage bulbs. A bulb over 25w tends to wash out the shade color and delicate details. Heavy base is a re-assurance its not going to tip when turning it on & off. Perfect size for our needs and very well built as is all Quoizel lamps.

I bought this lamp nearly two years ago and have never regretted it. It's so different and casts such a lovely amber light. I've had the lamp in both my bedroom and living room. It worked/works in either decor. The only real down side is the weight. It's really heavy. Otherwise, I can't think of anything negative to say.
