Goes well with Craftsman office desk for reading and computer work. During assembly, the threaded rod used to support the shade was too long, requiring me to cut it shorter. There are some irregularities in the faux finish on the lead kame that makes it look machine-made, rather than hand-made; a detraction. Otherwise, is reasonable quality for the price.

This is a magnificent lamp. Quoizel makes wonderful lamps that are alway quality products with attention to details and design. This lamp has a fairly large diameter shade. Make sure it fits your area. It's just stunning in it's elegant 'deco/nouveau' simplicity.
