From the Real Simple Collection comes this swing arm wall lamp. Features a gunmetal finish over steel and a fabric shade with a diffuser. Also has a hi/lo dimming switch. Plug-in style wall lamp; plugs into any standard wall outlet. Can also be converted to a direct hard-wire lamp. From Robert Abbey.

Good and Bad

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I wanted to install the pair above our headboard for bedtime reading. The 60W bulb is ample. Dimmer is awesome. I love the fabric shade with the diffuser; so much better than the cheap looking paper shades. But the swing arm sits crooked on the wall plate; not sure if I can adjust it by taking the mount apart. The swing arm motion is the most disappointing part. It's incredibly stiff and takes 2 hands to adjust. These lamps are being returned.
