Lamp is beautiful and practical. Purchased two lamps as gifts. First one excellent. Second had three flaws; A. Rough, unfiled edge on one piece (not serious) B. No assembly instructions (somewhat serious) C. Pole broken in two (very serious) No damage to carton or packaging so it must have been packed this way. Also unpacking can be messy, with bits of foam flying everywhere.
