A sublime 3-light floor lamp that is as peaceful as its name suggests. Its shade consists of two plastic PVC panels inserted into the dark walnut finished wood. When illuminated, they have the look of frosted glass. A convenient foot step-switch allows easy operation.

not worth the price

The lamp came packed nicely. It was easy to get out of the box and it was easy to assemble. The lamp is constructed from very cheap materials and in my opinion it is not worth the price. It didn't take me long to insert the two plastic sheets on each tier and to screw in a small piece of wood on the bottom that creates the footing for the lamp. Although, when the assembly was finished, I figured it wouldn't look too bad tucked away in a corner. So far, I haven't had any problem with stability on the floor, but I can certainly understand it could be unstable on certain types of flooring. If I had seen this lamp in person, I would not have ordered it.

A good value for the price. Nice design, and provides a decent amount of light. A couple of things to remember: --The shades are plastic (which you would expect for the price) and it is not the most stable design. If your floor is not level, I wouldn't put this lamp on it. Although, I have it on a fairly shaggy carpet right now, and it's stable enough, but always looks like it could fall over easily. --I wouldn't make it the main light for a room, but it does provide a great accent if placed next to furniture, like a bookcase.

I use this lamp in a basement family room with a very low finished ceiling and the size is perfect. It gives off very good light with 4100k cfl bulbs. It is very unstable for a floor lamp and is terrible on a carpeted or uneven floor. It works ok if placed near a wall where it can lean against. Otherwise its bad news.It is a bit quirky looking but gives off very good light for its size.
