The rectangle platform is in a brushed nickel finish. A white rectangle shade sits offset on one of the vertical stands. A single light pull turns the piece on/off. Design by Lite Source.

A good fit in our living room...looks good. Only problem was when we unpacked the lamp the cord was covered with a sticky, white packing foam that was pretty difficult to remove. The table lamp we got of the same style did not have this problem.

This lamp really looks great & stylish! A unique look & I often receive compliments. Unfortunately the shade has not been very sturdy! The metal brackets have separated from the base, and finally broken completely after being knocked over. I'm on the site looking to buy a new shade. I still like it though - it's very cool.

The size and style of this floor lamp are perfect for our family room at the corner of our "L" shaped couch. Not too tall, not too short. Tends to lean a little, but that could just be because it's on carpet and needs to be leveled. When we first used the floor lamp, the pull-chain got stuck and the chain easily broke. [...] The pull-chain still does not pull smoothly, but it feels more sturdy than the original that came with it.
