I had a Dining Room area, open to the Living Room, that was lost and dead without accent lighting to draw attention to that dark area. An electrician told me he would have to tear out the wall to locate the wires to install a non-corded sconce. So, I searched long and hard to find a corded sconce/wall lamp, and when I found this one, I immediately LOVED it. As it turns out, my instincts were right-on, because, now installed, it is one of the best things I have done for my home decor - FABULOUS!!!
