This handsome table lamp boasts a cast metal base fashioned to look like classic foundry metal castings. The base comes in a dark antique rust metal finish and is topped by a translucent flax parchment shade. A 3-way socket allows you to easily set the desired lighting level. I am happy with the product although a day after I got the lamp my son knocked it over and I got a dent in it. IT's not so noticeable because it's metal. If it had a wider base it might not have fallen over. I think it's a good height. I like the details on it and it's sturdy and easy to clean. I wish the cord was alittle longer.
