Accent your home with the contemporary look of this floor lamp. The brushed steel finish base features one upper light and three adjustable halogen side lights, making it ideal for both general room lighting and reading. The custom-made giclee shade blocks illumination from coming through the shade, focusing the light throw up and down. Please note, this shade uses a printed pattern and not actual seagrass. U.S. Patent # 7,347,593.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This lamp is absolutely gorgeous and the fact that you can change the shades will make this a lifetime investment for updated looks. We use this in a darker corner of our living room and it does more than do its job. The fact that you can just use the diffused light when you just need it for accent, or switch on the halogen lights as well, makes it very versatile. We also found that the halogen lights are not as unpleasingly bright as most. Good illumination, but not too bright and white, so we keep those on most of the time as well. Great to use for specific lighting; reading, shine on specific table to high light plants. You can't really aim the spots high for lighting wall, but that's okay as that was never our intention. I would highly recommend this to anyone! The shade is well made and fun. Color was a little darker than we expected but beautiful nonetheless. I have not seen anything like this in stores, and we shopped around a lot.
