I use this booklight mostly for reading my ereader. The flexible neck allows me to direct light precisely where I need it without moving, and the lightweight 5-LED head really does an awesome job of evenly distributing the light over the entire ereader screen and keyboard. The high/low/off button is convenient, especially since I enjoy reading in bed without disturbing my wife's sleep, as well as in my seat at the auditorium before the show begins. I've also had need for the light when working on my car on the side of the interstate in the dark due to the really strong magnetic base that sticks where I need it to be under the hood. The other plus that I must mention is the battery life...I'm still using the same batteries that I put into it about 7 months ago, and when I do need to replace the batteries I don't need to run to the store for special oddball sized batteries because this booklight uses standard, everyday, easily replaceable AAA batteries (3 of them). The only thing I can say negative about this booklight is that the curved metal slide clip on the base is rather shallow so I cannot use it (without modification) on thicker ereader covers without possibly scratching them. Oh, and I've noticed that (after 4 months of use) if I move the neck around too much, the light can turn off (may have a loose connection inside of the neck or at the lamp head), but I just click the high/low/off button again to use it.
