impossible to read

The silver hour hand is barely longer than the silver background. It does not stick out far enough into the black number area and gets totaally lost in the silver background. It is impossible to read the hour.

This is a very nicely designed clock. The numbers are very easy to read. However, if you place the clock in an area with bright light there will be a glare and that makes it hard to read/see the time. But it has a very nice shine and goes well in my stainless steel & black kitchen. Warning: the clock stopped working the first few days I received it, but it was because the battery kept popping out (a bit) of the back…easily fixed with tape & now runs great! But it looks like it was suppose to come with a cover for the back, so maybe my shipment was just missing it & yours will be fine. If not, duct tape worked for me since no one can see the back anyways. It sits nice and flat against the wall.
