I got this product last week and I have to say its really beautiful, its very soothing, my friend even fell asleep with it on. It is very quite and its made completely of slate, simple to put together, howevery the pieces just sit there when put together. The is no assurance, like hooks or locking parts, so it is kind of wobbly, but when you put the rocks on its not as bad. The light at the top of the fountain makes it even more beautiful, it does get really hot though. Overall, you get what you pay for, and its a very good product. One more thing to add, you have to be sure when you add water into the fountain so that you dont here air blowing, and the water will shoot out at first, but after a few seconds it flows calmly. The directions don't mention that.
Purchased for my sister to use in a small Zen Garden. She was thrilled with the quality and funtionality of this fountain. Very good quality for the price.
This is a neat, simple and elegant fountain but I found it a bit small as a floor fountain. It's better in a tabletop context. Small splash over means it needs to be on floor/tabletop that is impervious to water.
