Using as a front entryway fixture. The design is nice and simple without alot of decorative elements that woulde be distracting. The creme glass dome and its ribbed form nicely diffuse the light and it looks like the whole fixture is a light, not just a bright bulb holder. Using 60 Watt bulbs ratrher than the 100 watts it is rated to use and it still gives off plenty of light for its purpose. Close ceiling design works well in this lower ceiling area.

Installed in entry way. The fixture provides a good amount of light in a diffused manner. It is not harsh. The fluted dark cream scavo glass dome hides the bulb spot and yet provides plenty of illumination, although I am using only 60 watt bulbs, not the 100 watt bulbs that are recommended.
