the mounting screws that attach the light to the wall mounting plate could be just a hair longer to make it easier to mount. However, it is a beautiful light that easily lights up my small 8x8 bathroom

An electrician installed this for me, so I cannot speak to ease of installation. However, the halogen bulbs screw in--no fighting to force small bulbs into smaller sockets! The construction seems to be very good quality: there is nothing flimsy about this lamp. This lamp replaced a horizontal halogen bar lamp above a round mirror in a 7' x 7' lavatory. The curve of this fixture, and the circular shape of the diffusers, beautifully complement the round mirror above the (round) pedestal sink. The light is very white, and adjusts well with a dimmer. For this size space (7' x 7'), the light is more than ample, and could easily be used in a larger room. The white diffusers eliminate any glare that one might expect from halogens, even at full brightness. I find the light itself very comfortable to be in. Another reviewer said that he/she liked this lamp in person even better than he/she had based on the photos on this web site, and I feel the same way. I couldn't be happier with this choice.

This lighting fixture complements the plumbing fixtures and vanity listed *perfectly*. I cut the wattage from 100w to 75w - still plenty of light in an 8.5' x 8.5' bathroom. One caveat: when the bulbs burn out, they *explode* - with enough force to crack the globes. Kichler has sent two replacements already and indicate they'll just keep sending more as needed... (Was installed by a licensed electrician.)
