This is the 2nd purchase from Lamps plus and on both occasions the product that I wanted was not available except as the display model without the packaging. It was wrapped nicely and didn't have any problems but a bit disturbing just the same. I'll go back again anyway.
We have been updating our 12 year old master bathroom and getting rid of the old brass fixtures that the builder used and replacing them with chrome or brushed steel. This fixture was selected for its finish and overall style. It nicely updates the look of the room. Very easy to install if you are familiar with simple wiring. the directions are good. One caution, the directions assume that this fixture will be installed over a junction box that is embedded in the wall. Make sure you check with local building and fire codes as some homes do not have this box in the wall and just wires are sticking out through a hole in the drywall. This may force you to install the junction box (easy to do if you are somewhat handy).

We installed this light fixture in our hall bathroom, and what a difference it made! With only three lights, it was plenty bright! Also, I like that the glass bowls are frosted white, not yellowish. I really dislike yellow light, but the white light keeps the bathroom looking clean and crisp. It looks very clean and sophisticated. It has just enough detail while remaining simply designed. I think the look is really classic and will last many years! My favorite thing about it is the flexibility. It looks great with the glass bowls opening upward or downward, depending on your preference. Also, we were able to put those new CFL bulbs into it, and we even put dimmer CFL's in the bigger version of this light fixture that we installed in our master bathroom! My husband and father-in-law worked as a team to install it and did state that it was slightly challenging, but it really didn't take them too long at all. I definitely give the Sussex Collection Bathroom Light Fixtures my stamp of approval!
