The charcoal grey drum shade allows us to use the energy saving bulbs and enhances our floor lamp with its soft sheen. Our previous shade was too small for the bulbs and the lamp.

The fabric of this shade is a very attractive color, more taupe than grey, with a soft, subtle sheen. The lining is white. It is nicely made. Unfortunately, it turned out to be much too large for my table lamp. It is better suited for a floor lamp. It's a great value for the modest price.

We purchased these shades to use with Modern Amber Glass Night Light Table Lamps (20675) and they look great! The fabric is beautiful with a soft sheen, and the slight curved shape really compliments the lamps. I would describe the color as very pale taupe. The quality is excellent.
