Since one can no longer buy torchiere lamps that take 300W halogens, I had to buy TWO torchieres to attempt to make up for the loss of light. The replacement lamps admonish one not to exceed 190W bulbs. Of course, there's no such animal as a 190W halogen bulb, at least I couldn't find any after much searching. I couldn't even find 175W halogens after much tramping about New York City! So, thank you, LampsPlus, not only for these excellent quality 175W Tesler bulbs but for great pricing [...]
