I replaced an old sconce lamp with this one. The only drawback for me was the electrical hookup. My husband is an electrician so he was able to hard wire the lamp which left a hole at the bottom of the base of the lamp. Better a hole at the lamp base than an electrical cord to deal with down our wall!

We installed this product in our bedroom above our bed on both sides. Our house is a log house and the lamps fit in perfectly. They provide perfect light for reading in bed. The biggest problem we had installing was getting the lights level. The base had to be adjusted out of level in order for the swing arm and the shade to be level.

Really beautiful lamp that I installed in a dark corner over a sectional couch. I had a small problem with the screw anchors breaking but those were easily replaced. Now very sturdily hung. Really added warm light to room. Would get cord cover as an addition (ordered it later).

This was used in our vacation home on the Outer Banks of NC. We needed a light in the corner of the of the living area after replacing a couch and table (with lamp) with a corner sectional sofa. This beautiful lamp not only provided the needed light but looks great as well as going with the rest of the new furniture. My daughter and I put it up the week before everyone arrived for the Thanksgiving vacation week. I was nervous about doing the installation ourselves, but it was so easy and went up beautifully.
