I bought this lamp for on top of a fireplace mantle to accent a picture on the wall. the area is along the wall in a room where this wall doesn't get much light.I enjoy the fact it has two settings of brightness. the price was right and it is a beautiful piece.

I was looking for a bed side lamp that was stylish and bright. I got both with this one. I put 2 of them in my bedroom and they look great! You can also dim the lights when you need it. I just wish they put the switch on the base of the lamp, it is difficult to find it at time, especially at night.
