This "three jugs" fountain is perfect for our new Arizona home entry patio. We are 100% satisfied with our Lamps Plus purchase.
it arrived on time and it was easy to set up. I had this fountain for 3 months now and I have set it up outside on my patio. so far it has been great addition to my patio decoration and sounds relaxing.
Enjoy relaxing in the courtyard with my new fountain. Fountain is attractive any outdoor space. I added an inexpensive remote w/timer from local hardware store.
Placed on lanai, surrounded by potted plants and patio furniture. Perfect complement for relaxing evenings under the stars. Up and running in about 1/2 hour.Images/Videos shared by: Jersey Jeff
I looked at dozens of fountains, focusing on style and the water effect. This one is extremely classy. There are small sealed lights in the two lower vases, which cause the sides of the vases to glow slightly, since the plastic is semi translucent (due to its thickness), which is not at all noticeable until it gets dark, so this provides a very impressive, unexpected appearance, when the sun goes down, providing a wonderful counter balance of vase illumination, in conjunction with the bulbs illuminating the upper bowl and the water falling out of it. Some reviewers complained about water splashing out of the lower vases but this only happens under three potential conditions. First, it is critical to use a level in both directions (north/south and east/west, resting on the rim of the upper bowl) to insure that the surface which your fountain is resting on, is totally level. Using a level, I positioned shims under a couple of corners of the base of my unit, to level it. If it is not level, then the water will not pour equally from the two upper spillways and the flow will not hit the middle of the water pools in the two vases. If it is out of level and off center, then water can hit closer to the edges of one or both of the vases, causing it to splash over the edge....easy to prevent. Second, if there is a strong breeze, of course the wind will blow the spilling water out of its intended path. And third, you might have to adjust the pump velocity to decrease the water flow, as a potential source of splashing, although I found the two aforementioned conditions to be more likely to cause splashing. I did find the assembly instructions to be not quite as clear as they could have been, but a little common sense and logic can get you there. Mainly realize that you are to run the two electrical cords for the light bulbs, immediately from their vases and into the large round downspout tube in the reservoir, as well as the cord from the pump which sits at the bottom of the reservoir. They are not to reside within the water reservoir. So all of the "excess" cords/wiring are supposed to nest within the bottom of the unit, on the ground or pavement. Of course there is a "mouse hole" cutout in the base for the power cord to exit the unit, towards an outlet. One valuable feature of this fountain is the fairly large reservoir which basically includes most of the structure behind what is visible, so I only have to refill it every few days (depending upon how much it is flowing...evaporation). Do not let the reservoir run dry, since it will ruin the pump. Two things will alert you to low water condition. First, the level of water will be noticeably reduced in the upper bowl, along with reduced waterfall flow, But more importantly as an "early warning", the water entering the base of the upper bowl, from the pump, will start to exhibit small air bubbles with the water flow (a bit of frothing). That is a definite sign that you need to add water and it alerts y
This fountain came with the top bowl completely smashed. But customer service was excellent. And it was replaced in 1 week. And it is bubbling away on my patio. Love it.
We have an Atrium in our Master Bathroom. This was just what I was looking for. It is beautiful and fit so well in the spot. It does have a little splashing but not too much. We used several things in the bowls to keep the noise of the water more quiet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful fountain.
You'll be happy with this product.
A very nice fountain for outdoor use! It splashes over very slightly but as long as it's oudoors I see no big deal. It's a very attractive fountain and has a serene sound of the waterfall and nice ambience at night when lit. Everyone that has seen it remarks how nice it is! Setup was fairly simple, something I believe anyone can do. I had a problem after a year of use when the pump failed ( I have this fountain over 2 years now). I had called customer service and they replaced it free of charge (no hassle at all!)! In fact one of the reasons I recommend this fountain is because I believe their customer service is outstanding! I had called them before to ask some questions and their reps were always very polite. For the style, ambience, price and service of this item, you can't go wrong!
When a store-bought fountain for our patio had a broken part, we searched online for the part and instead found this beautiful fountain. We LOVE it! Easy to set up, and instant ambiance! EVERYONE comments on how beautiful it looks and sounds. The light is lovely. Splashing is minimal, but plan for this to be outside, just in case. Imperceptible imperfections only contribute to the authentic look. Totally LOVE it!
We bought this fountain in July 2012 and returned it in 2 days. 1st,in the middle of the big jars you can see manufactoring seams, from the top to the bottom (see attached picture). 2nd,at night with the lights on, two halves of the jar (both of them) looked different - right looked solid, left looked semi-transparent with the seam in between.A sales person told us that all those fountaines had this defect,so we returned ours to the store. Conclusion - great looking idea, but poor manufactoring.Images/Videos shared by: Pumpkin
I just purchased this fountain and its very nice. The set-up was easy and I have it in front of my house next to other plants. I've received many positive comments thus far. Its beautiful at night with the halogen bulbs.
It's BEAUTIFUL..The only thing I really can complain about it the casting on the back was messed up where someone at the factory had taken there finger while it was wet and smeared extra casting material between the two vases and made a big smear blob with it.Luckly it was on the backside where no one will see it. The instructions could have been done better! Like place the cords down the PVC pipe that leads out the bottom to connect all the wiring. But enough of the complaining I would highly recommend this it meets and exceeds what I had hoped for and for the price it can't be beat! I will buy something else from this company again.
This fountain is admired by all visitors. Many just say "wow" when they see it in action. It's relaxing water sounds as if you are sitting near a stream in the mountains. Great fountian for the price.
I love this fountain. Very loud and Tranquil which is what I needed. Only downside is it splashes a bit.
