can light be mounted on ceiling ( not on a wall) ? i.e. an outdoor overhang is where the one I'm replacing is mounted
dave p on Aug 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There is no reason you can't mount it on the ceiling. Since the motion detector is adjustable you can adjust it to get a good amount of detection but I have no idea if you'll be able to get the stated 70 feet with the downward facing orientation. Likewise, since the two lights have adjustable swivel arms you can adjust the orientation to get a wide degree of lighting direction options but without knowing your exact placement and intended use I can't say if you will be able to light the intended area.
does this light need to be connected to power switch ?
charles s on Jul 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: For safety, this should either be connected to a wall switch inside the home, or to an easily identifiable and accessible circuit breaker in your main breaker panel.
