This ceiling light has a square ceiling plate with four posts extending to form the framework of a two-rail light. Four adjustable light heads allow you to place the light where you need it. The two rails are set at differing heights for a stylish effect.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I just bought this beautiful, modern ceiling light fixture in a LampsPlus store. It does NOT extend a minimum of 17" from the ceiling. At the shortest setting, it only extends about 12". This is very important and this difference allowed me to purchase it due to my 9' ceilings. I have not installed it yet, but it looks beautiful. I may try to swap out the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs if I can find some that look good.
