I really like this lamp, however the shade is more of a gold color than tan, and it has gold accents on the bronze metal parts of the lamp. The description isn't accurate about this and the pictures do not show it. Not sure I would have bought it if I would have known about this. Beware of this if you are thinking about buying it.

I was very disappointed in the color of the shade. It said that it was tan, according to the internet. I thought it would look great in my tan and blue bedroom. But the color of the shade is more towards yellow than tan. Therefore I had to return it.
