Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I just had to have this mirror when it popped up during an exhaustive, time-consuming Internet search, and it was a splurge, but so worth it. It replaced a falling apart mirror that had just hung in a corner of the room with an antique bar table and chairs, but with a view outside to the forest. The lovely features are well-crafted, and design so unique I can see this as an heirloom piece. When it was hung, it was perfect, as the look of wood branches with birds fit perfectly in that space. Yet, it is so pretty it can be a focal point anywhere. Everyone loves it! The downside is, it is extremely heavy. I had to hire someone to hang it. There are two brackets on the back, which should each be hung over a nail that needs to go into a stud. However, we fudged it and hung it with very strong wire strung between the two brackets, and then fit that over a single nail hammered into a stud. The directions specifically state to not do that. I think because it is so very heavy. I hope it will be alright like that for many years to come though, because I just love it so much!
