I am so happy with this lamp. It is beautiful and not a lamp that you will find in anyone else's home. It has really a brass look, not silver. It has an Asian tone, yet makes it's own statement. You will love this lamp.

This lamp is being used in our entryway. I searched several local furniture & homegoods store locally in my area, but could never find a lamp that wowed me. This lamp definitely sets the stage upon entering our home. It's truly an eye-catching piece of artwork that will complement any modern decor. The base color of the lamp looks to be more of an old world gold to me than antique silver. It does ask for a 100 watt bulb, which perfectly lights our once old dark foyer. You will not be disappointed with this purchase if you're looking for a unique lamp that says elegance

I received my lamp yesterday. It's really lovely and it's a keeper. For those looking for something that is 'traditional' or 'Asian', I would caution that it's more modern in design. I have a 'traditional' 'mission style' bedroom and it works for me but just want to caution people that it leans more toward the modern accents than the traditional. That said, it's a beautiful lamp and a great deal for the money.
