PLEASE NOTE - Sixteen 40 watt bulbs are recommended however, they are too long, too fat and touch the sides of the frame. The best bulbs to purchase are GE crystal clear 15 watt, type B, candelabra type,blunt tip bulbs. I placed four 40 watt candelabra type, type B, blunt tip bulbs at the top of the fixture and twelve (15 watt) bulbs in the remaining fixture. The 15 watt bulbs do not touch the sides are a very bright.Perfect!

I purchased this chandelier to hang in a dining/living room combo. My space is small and my husband (and son) thought the fixture would be "too much". However, after the chandelier was hung my family ate their words; they love the lighting! This chandelier is more beautiful in person - the picture doesn't do it any justice. For about a week after my husband hung the chandelier, I kept the light on through the night because it is just gorgeous! I would recommend using the chandelier with a dimmer, as the dim light is very romantic in the evening. On the downside, be prepared to spend a few hours putting all of the crystals (which are high quality) on the light. Also, it will take a few more hours to install the fixture on the ceiling. The chandelier is HEAVY so be prepared to have two people available to hang. Nonetheless, the time spent putting the crystals on the light, as well as the time needed to hang the fixture is definitely worth it. This chandelier is by far my favorite of all my lighting fixtures. Two words describe this piece: Absolutely - stunning!

Great dining room fixture. Need to take great care in putting crystals on. This could take 3 hours Study the shape of the end product, add crystals from the bottom up, make sure each row stands out as much as possible to create the desired shape.

This light is HEAVY! You will need two people to hang it. Also be careful, the crystal balls will fall off if you are not gentle. They are easy to reattach though, so as long as you don't break them, it's okay. The light is beautiful!
