I'm purchasing another one of these fixtures for a guest house kitchen. I bought the first one for my own kitchen after installing granite counter-tops and back splash. There is nothing like halogen light for picking up all the color nuance and richness of a fine granite (mine is red dragon). The 3-head design allows me to illuminate not only the sink, but a couple of countertop areas not well covered by the under-cabinet lighting, to give a full and even lighting of the granite. I don't ordinarily use the same quality fixtures in my guest houses as in the main house, but at this price, there was no reason not to. It's a beautiful fixture. One tip: Install the bulbs BEFORE you hang the fixture, as their two-pin design makes them a little difficult.
