Did a lot of searching for a lamp that would suit our needs. Most of our lighting has the "green disc", so I was concentrating on that. This lamp has a single green disc that matches everything else very nicely. Also, our wood trim is white along with our drapes and blinds, so the white lamp blends in beautifully. It has a guard over the bulb so as to protect anything coming in contact with it. It is very sturdy with a nice finish to it. It comes with 175 watt bulb that throws plenty of light, but also has a dimmer switch for whatever mood strikes you. It's very nice for watching TV because the light shines upward an reflects off the ceiling, so no glare. And with a dimmer, it's nice to have it on low light minimizing eye strain with just enough light to see what you're doing. Very happy thus far.

Looks good. Would have liked it to be a little brighter, but 175 watts was all that was available. Looks good. The box arrive a little worse for wear, but light was not damaged.

I bought two. One was delivered by mail and didn't exactly match the first. One had a bulb that burned out after a few minutes and it was so tightly fitted I wasn't sure how to get it out. Lamps Plus resolved these issue promptly -- their service is excellent.

My thoughts and concern were price range , color, design, and looking at how it would be like to have such a light of this fashion . I really like what we have chosen and wanted to let others know of the way the light works and the very beauty it protrays even in a simplistic home like ours. It sits in a cornor in our living room giving off the light we need which meets our needs . As to the uselessness, I have not found anything that I don't like about this product ... perfect as far as we are concerned .
