[...] Next time I will change the hardware of my lamps (which have fantastic brass bases) to the now conventional design that utilize shades with the three spokes at the top, etc.

Clip-on lampshades are difficult to find other than the small chandelier type. Lamps Plus offers larger versions which I bought for a tall library candle lamp. The lampshade arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and as described. I trust Lamps Plus to deliver a quality product as well as offer a variety of items not found elsewhere.
