Great for concentrating more light on a work--or reading--area. And the base is heavy, making the lamp sturdy so that if you move it while getting out of the chair the lamp wobbles rather than falling over. Also the light switches on the tops of each lamp are easy to turn on for someone with arthritis.

I wanted an inexpensive floor lamp for my living room and love this lamp. Depending on my mood or my lighting needs, I only have to use one or two but have the option to use all three lamps and direct the light in any direction I need it. It's great for reading and computer work.

Lamp provides good lighting in living room where I sit, read, and use computer. The lighting is very focused (which is good for my uses). One of the three lights is hard to turn on and off (the top of the three); the others turn on and off very easily.
