I had a fan installed in my bedroom and this is the light I purchased to go on it. From what I understand, usually lighting that is connected with fans is not that great; however this products puts out a lot of light. I really needed more light in my bedroom and that is why I chose this one. It is attractive as well.

This was used on a ceiling fan in an old farmhouse with low, low ceilings. Unlike other deeper fixtures, this ate up only 4" of "head clearance" so we don't have to duck under it. I'm very pleased.
