Easy, to install one issue, after purchasing the unit from Lamps Plus for [$] I found the identical switch on-line for [$]. Now I could of uninstalled it and returned it, but it would of been nice to of gotten it for a lesser price before I went through all the work.Great idea, too pricey at this store. If you can wait you can get it cheaper, wait; its worth the money.

Installed this 5 years ago loved it for the first 3 then the motion sensor began to go on the fritz. Lats year day and night would not work I guess sensor broken. I finally found the replacement (had to buy new no replacement parts from Heath-Zenith. Overall I like it as I am buying it again but what if I cannot find next time? Oh well it uses existing lights and is only system that does.

I have two of these. Not really another product like this and they are a great idea if you want to use your existing lights. One is mounted on the front of the house working the coach lights and it has performed perfectly. I have another installed on the rear covered deck to turn on the overhead can lights and that one is somewhat flaky. Finally changed out the motion sensor and that seemed to do the trick but it still fails to turn on sometimes. I've only had them for 3 weeks so not sure about longevity but so far so good.

The switch design means that you can only install it if you have those rectangular shaped switches -- mine are not those, and where I wanted to install it I also have a double and not a single, so I haven't installed it and will be returning it.

I love the fact that I can use a decorative porch lamp and still get the convenience and security of a Motion Sensor Security system. The separate motion sensor unit can be positioned so that you get more coverage than if it were buildt into the wall mounted porch fixture.

My husband wanted an fixture with a motion sensor for my front porch, but the fixture I found that was perfect for my house didn't have a sensor. This motion sensor made it possible to satisfy my husband and my design requirements. Unexpectedly, this application exceeds our expectations with the efficiency of the motion sensor function. Our porch is inset, and the old fixture would not always go on soon enough to light the way when guests would approach the door, even when fully adjusted. This motion sensor allowed me to place it in the best place possible to make the porch light come on when needed! I wish I'd had it long ago!
