How to Shop Lamps Plus

Using the Lamps Plus Website

Finding Product

A great place to start is at the Lamps Plus and Lamps home pages. Here you'll find our latest product offers, site features and sales. You can use the menu product categories at the top of the page ("Chandeliers", "Ceiling Lights", "Lamps" and so on) to search for products. You can also use the "Search" box located at the top of every page.

From a menu or search page result, you can browse through a selection of products. Once you find something you are interested in, click on the product image to view the product page.

Each product page has a number of pictures to view and a detailed product description. On most pages you can also use the "Zoom/Full Screen" function below the main image to view a close-up image of the product. Some products have videos that allow you to see the design in action or learn more about a brand. Just click the "Watch Video" link to play any available video.

Customize Your Search

Refine your online search and view multiple options and combinations within each category by choosing from a variety of filters, including style, finish, color, usage and more.

Look for the "Filter by:" buttons in red mid-screen. Click on each dropdown menu to select your preferences, and the page will update with your specified options.

If you want to remove a filter and apply another, simply click on the blue box with an X next to the option you want to replace and repeat the previous step to update your preference.

If coordinating items from the collection you are viewing are available, you will see those options listed on the right-hand side of the individual product page under "Other Options."

You can also view some products in place and try before you buy by clicking on the "View in Room" button and uploading a photo of the space you want to virtually decorate.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

If you like an item and would like to purchase it, click the red "Add To Cart" button to place the item in your online shopping cart. If you do not see an "Add To Cart" button it may mean the item is in limited availability or must be special ordered.

Your online shopping cart saves the items you've chosen for possible purchase. After putting items into your cart you can continue browsing the or online store. You can also choose to save your cart for future viewing; just click the "Save" link to do so.

Choose the "Cart" link/icon located in the upper right hand corner of every page at any point to review your cart's contents, change item quantities, remove items, or begin the checkout process.

Completing Your Online Order

From the "Cart Overview" page, click on "Proceed To Checkout" to finalize the purchase of your shopping cart. You'll be asked to provide billing and shipping information, select a payment method, and provide contact information.

Please note that we require a minimum order of $10 USD on and $30 CAD on The vast majority of our items are more than $10 USD or $30 CAD so this usually isn't a problem, but for smaller items we need a minimum dollar amount in order to meet minimum shipping and handling charges.

Once you have submitted your order it will be processed in a matter of seconds. You'll see an "Order Confirmation" page which you can print and keep for your records.

You will also be emailed a copy of your order invoice. Make sure you retain a copy for future reference should you have a question about your order. We will also send you an email to let you know when your order ships.

International Orders

Please note that we require a minimum of $200 in U.S. funds on all international orders except for orders shipped to Canada. All international orders must be paid by wire transfer with the exception of Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, FPO and APO addresses.
