Half of all sales of art shade lighting and pillows featuring St. Jude patient artwork will benefit the hospital through Sept. 30<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LOS ANGELES \u2013 Aug. 27, 2019<\/strong> – Lamps Plus announced today its support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital\u00ae<\/a> by offering lamp shades and pillows featuring patient artwork<\/a> with proceeds benefiting the organization in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Lamps Plus will donate 50 percent of the retail sales of lamp shades and pillows featuring St. Jude patient artwork to St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital now until Sept. 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, 10 bold pieces of artwork created by childhood cancer survivors are available on lamp shades and decorative pillows. The artwork features whimsical, hand-painted animals, including cats, owls, birds and zebras. Colorful abstract images with hearts and a hand-lettered, multi-color design that spells out St. Jude are also available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table lamps, swag pendants, standalone lamp shades and decorative\npillows are the products from Lamps Plus available with the vibrant and\ncolorful patient artwork. The art patterns are printed onto lamp shades and\npillows using a patented giclee printing process. The pillows are 18 square\ninches and have a 95\/5 feather-down mix. Both the lamp shades and pillows are assembled\nby artisans in Lamps Plus\u2019 Los Angeles workshop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Jude is leading the way the world\nunderstands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening\ndiseases.\u200b Since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago, treatments\ninvented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival\nrate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
