Can an LED bulb greater than 75 watts be used in this fixture?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes you can use an LED light bulb with a greater light output.
Does this light have an on off switch on base?

BEST ANSWER: no - this does not include a switch on the base. This is a hardwired design that requires electrical installation which is controlled by a wall switch.
Is it possible to mount this fixture flat (horizontally - light face illuminating straight up) on a pillar?

BEST ANSWER: I can't see any reason why not. Mine are on the front porch on either side of the front door. But an electrical connection is standard. so it would go on a pillar.
