What is its minimum height when the neck is fully bent? Need to place it on a shelf with only 10" clearance to the shelf above.

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately it wouldn't work in your space. Minimum is about 14 inches. It is a great lamp, though!

Does the on/off switch become hot after the lamp is on for a long period of time?

BEST ANSWER: The on/off switch does not become hot after the lamp is on for a long time. If his does, it may be due to the light bulb he is using. I use a 13W,120V 60Hz Halogen bulb which gives off lots of light but stays fairly cool to the touch.
Is it cordless?

Excellent reading lamp
Decorative and yet so useful for reading especially if you have low vision. The white interior of the shade magnifies the lamp and it never gets hot because of the LED 60 watt lamp it uses. Love it! Would recommend to a friend.

Perfect Old School Task Lamp
I’d been looking for a contemporary task lamp for the limited space I had available on my built in desk/cabinet area. I needed lots of light and had only 17” in height available. All the lamps I found didn’t provide enough light. This cute bronze colored task lamp is perfect!

Black Desk Lamp that twists!
