BEST ANSWER: Yes but we use the smart hue lights from philips and you can adjust them to any setting/color/brightness you like.

Beautiful
We love these lamps. We bought two, one for each side of our sectional sofa in our living room. They are sturdy and look and feel like very high quality lamps. Worth the price. Also purchased matching chrome and white tables.
