Use this sleek brushed steel ceiling light in a laundry room or hallway. Its frosted shade will add a soft glow to the places in your home that need some extra light. Flushmount style.
I liked the simplicity of the design. We completely remodeled our home and this light fixture compliments the modern desk in the den, not to mention the price was right.

(1) Appearance is very good for our application, and (2) it's NOT an LED fixture. LEDs come with a fixed light output. You can't put different bulbs. You must install a dimmer to reduce the output. We have 4-way circuits and would have to change all the switches. So we wanted a screw-in bulb fixture.

I twisted the flush mount lamp frame off from the ceiling. Now it's hanging by electrical wires. The light source is on the other side of a welded plate, and appears inaccessible. How does one remove the bulbs/LED?
BEST ANSWER:It seems like the light fixture was not secured properly to the electrical box and came off when trying to remove the glass. The glass simply comes off by turning it counter clockwise. If the fixture is not secured properly to the electrical box it will turn when turning the glass.

One of two things is happening or both. The white glass has a 1/4 turn slot to remove from the fixture to access the lights. If you grab the entire fixture and turn you will remove the entire fixture from the electrical box. If this happened try and remove only the glass part and then you'll see two slotted pieces that will fit back on the electrical box. This should not happen unless you turned the entire fixture too hard or whoever installed it didn't tighten the box to fixture connection correctly. Hope this helps.
You do not remove the flush mount lamp frame from the ceiling to change bulbs, simply unscrew the white cover over the light bulbs and you can change them and then screw the cover back in place
I bought three of these for the ceiling in my newly remodeled kitchen since I upgraded to stainless steel appliances. They look great and thus far I have no complaints.
this fixture adds such a nice light to my bathroom and doesn't take away from the decor...in fact it's clean and suble design add a new dimension on its own. Very complimentary to my industrial/transitional decor.
How to buy ceiling lighting-There are two types. Flushmount and semi-flushmount.12/6/2017 1:07:25 PM
