The magnificent color palette of this prized rug is enhanced by using many shades of each color to give it the look of old vegetable dyed yarns. Woven through the back on an Axminster loom using the finest imported skein-dyed worsted wool, the piece is then lustre-washed and buffed to impart a rich antique patina to the finish.
