Is the lamp shade fabric?

BEST ANSWER: Yes - This includes a fabric bell shade.
Is it possible to use a dimmer switch for this lamp so you do not have to reach up to turn the knobs? It is a tall lamp.

BEST ANSWER: I do not see why not. This lamp can be dimmed when paired with dimmable light bulbs and the proper add-on dimmer.

BEST ANSWER: It’s a sturdy tall lamp, it’s very pretty too. I don’t have the actual weight but if you look at the product description or specifications online it will tell you how much it weighs.
What is "cast resin?" Is it breakable like ceramic??

BEST ANSWER: This table lamp is constructed of a special formulated resin material. It is very durable and much more resistant to breaking, and cracking then ceramic.
Will a 150W dimmible LED bulb work in this lamp? I don't need the dimmible feature, but most have it.

Can you use led bulbs?

BEST ANSWER: Sure, absolutely you may use LED bulbs.
We just set up a pair of these beautiful lamps. So far we have only been able to control the top bulb(150) with the switch on the top socket. The three lower bulbs (40) are controlled by the switch on the lower saddle. I thought we were going to be able to turn on all the lights from one switch...are we missing something?

How much is the brightest wattage? Is it 150 or more? That is can you turn on the big bulb PLUS at least one of the small bulbs at the same time?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, this has a 4-way switch that controls all the bulbs. So you can have the top 150 watt bulb on, the three 40 watt bulbs on, all the bulbs on, or all off.
what size bulb bases? all standard bases for the 3 40W and 1 150w? Can you use LED bulbs?

BEST ANSWER: All are standard bases. I use standard base 40W bulbs that are smaller than a refrigerator bulb. I dont know about LED, Im concerned about the glow i get from that kind of lamp.

May I just say; There is nothing like these Kathy Ireland lamps!! Kathy Ireland, Girl, you have out done yourself. These lamps are one of a kind. I have never, ever, seen such lamps that are simply beautiful, they are tall and very heavy and simply elegant. Heck, I am feeling a sense of royalty; simply one of a kind. I feel like a Queen when I am lying in my bed. Now that I have these lamps in my bedroom, I do not want to leave the bedroom. I would recommend these Kathy Ireland lamps to any and all who can afford them. I am sure your Husbands and/or male friends would love these lamps as well. You don't have to take my word for it, buy them and you will experience exactly what I am experiencing in this moment and time. Good solid attractive traditional style lamp, a bit pricy but overall satisfied.
Traditional styling is attractive. Quality of illumination is excellent. Workmanship and product composition ok. Flaw noted (?f finish lifting) on faux marble. Solid, heavy and easy to assemble. Arrived on time and in good condition. Appreciate range of illumination options and energy-efficient bulb capability. Large price difference between American and Canadian websites. Lower price for Canada would have been appreciated!

Beautiful lamp that achieves what I wanted
It is difficult to find table lamp that allows you to sit and read at night. This one is fantastic! Can actually read comfortably at night. Looks beautiful on table & in the room.
