No wiring is necessary; just secure the panel to the outside of the building where needed, hang the light module inside and connect the two units with the included cord. Fully charged, the light module's 48 LEDs will produce a brilliant 400 lumens for an hour; switch to 24-LED operation for longer light duration at 200 lumens. A convenient built-in nightlight lets you find the on/off drawstring in the dark. The plastic-laminated solar panel sits on a telescoping post to position for maximum sun exposure, and the NIHM battery pack generally achieves a full charge after around eight hours of sunlight, depending on cloud cover.
