It comes in a satin nickel finish and features a prominent round seedy glass shade. BEST ANSWER: Slopes are OK, be sure you have enough chain though. Extra lengths of chain can be purchased separately if needed.
Would this light fit over my 3' x 4' kitchen table? (I have 8' ceiling)? I am also considering Possini Euro Layne 19 1/4" light. Which size would be more appropriate?

BEST ANSWER: There are various general guidelines in determining the correct size of a pendant/chandelier over a table. Generally select a fixture that has a diameter that is somewhere between half and three quarters the width (diameter for round table) of the table top and have 30”-36” of clearance from the table top to the bottom of the light (adjust as needed for higher ceilings). BEST ANSWER: This pendant is not rated for damp locations. But if you still intend to use it in a bathroom and the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers, it should be fine.

BEST ANSWER: Yes because it has adjustable hanging cord. I have it over a 52 inch table in my breakfast nook. If your island is longer than that, you may want 2.
I'm looking for a nickel finish but with a sheen to it. Is this more on the shiny side or is it more matte?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - This includes a 7 watt LED bulb with a 2200K color temperature (warm white). But yes you can use a higher color temperature bulb to get that cool white or day light effect.

Everything we were looking for
We've been searching for a new lamp for our dining area, without much success. While in the showroom, we saw this light, but in oiled bronze. If only it existed in brushed nickel! We spoke with our salesperson, and lo and behold, it was available in brushed nickel! A simple order and it was delivered to our home just days later.

pretty but not balanced
the bubble glass is nice. the satin nickel finish is good too, but when we mounted it, the metal is not uniform so it hung a little off center. we took it down and clipped the glass a few times and rotated it a few times. eventually it looked straighter but its not perfect. it must be hand made in china. not sure the listing indicates that, but whatever, everything is made there now. in the end we are happy with the purchase, just consider that if you buy one.

good light, bad shipping
the first one arrived in chunks (thanks, Fed Ex). They immediately sent a replacement, but that one had a chip. They sent another one which was fine. So, they are responsive, and quick to correct errors. They should really look into a different shipper. This is far from the first thing Fed Ex has destroyed en route.
