BEST ANSWER: Hi - This is not damp rated. But if you still intend to use it in your bathroom, it is highly recommended to have good ventilation. This lamp shade is made from a polyester blend material.
Ok so when lamp is installed it is 13 1/2” from top of shade to bottom of plate?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the overall height from the bottom of the light (end of stem) to the top of the shade measures 13.5" inches.

Perfect
These sconces are truly beautiful and cast a nice up-light glow. Totally changed the look and feel of our 1/2 bath.
These sconces are made well (have a nice weight to them), the shades are beautiful and most of all it was very easy to install (30 min or so).
