Shonna Blue and White Porcelain Jar Table Lamp

I purchased two lamps to flank my sofa. They are lovely, the only downside is that’s it’s not a three-way bulb.

A lovely combination of designs, much prettier than the picture.

Beautiful. Large. Well made. Does not take a 3 way bulb.

I recently ordered from Lamps Plus for the first time and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase of two Shonna Blue & White Porcelain Jar Table Lamps. Shipping was free and delivery was very prompt even with the Christmas rush. The lamps were so well packaged that I’m not sure how they could have arrived with any damage. The quality is outstanding

We used these lamps on the buffet table in our dining area. They bring just the right pop of color, and tie in with the accents in our room. Lamps arrived packaged well, and were easy to put together.

4 stars. Lamp is very substantial, makes a statement. However the design is muddled looking, not as distinct as pictured. For example, my husband had to really look at it to detect the birds. Makes a statement, impressive size but not overpowering on an end table. Mine arrived minus a harp and top filial, but customer service responded quickly and sent them to me.

Here’s the deal, this lamp is gorgeous! However, in the photo it appears to be colbalt blue on a white background, but it is not an accurate depiction of the color! The blue is a navy blue, not a colbalt (like much stafforfshore blue and white porcelain), and the background is actually a very faint gray not white. As such, it did not match the rest of my blue and white porcelain decor. Also, the finial that came with the lamp appears to be a dark shade of wood that matches the base (based on the photo), yet this is also not the case. It is black and is made of plastic. Boo! All in all this really is a beautiful lamp and, with the exception of the finial, it is high quality and a good value for the price. That being said, I did return the lamp due to the fact that the color difference was a deal breaker for me. Oh well, the search goes on!

Pretty lamp. Works well in the bedroom for which I bought it. Sadly, I saw some prettier ones in a consignment store a couple of months after I bought these. But, even at consignment store prices, the cost would have been 2 1/2 times what Lamps Plus charged.

The shade provided sits too low on the harp!! It's not like the web picture. You should include harp extenders.

Very nice classy lamp. Wish the base was dark brown instead of reddish brown.

I didn't expect Ming dynasty, but the quality of the blue-and-white ceramic pattern is poorer than I expected, and the switch is flimsy. They look nice at a distance; however, as is common with low-dollar ceramics, much of the blue patterns are indistinct, not crisp, and the background color is not a pure white (muddy grayish) and they aren't attractive close-up. I bought two of these lamps for the bedroom, and knew the moderate price would not render top quality, but the cheaply made switch makes me handle it carefully; a 3-way switch would be better, but even the single-wattage switch (which I knew I was getting) is VERY flimsy. I'll keep these until I find better, but they aren't long term lamps. I think I'll pay more next time, and get much better quality. These are, at best $40-50-each lamps, but I'm not going to the trouble to return; would never get them back in the boxes anyway--had to break the Styrofoam to get them out. No more "Lamps Plus" lamps for me.

Received this lamp in about 4 days. Packed perfectly. The size is perfect on my night table. I love everything about this lamp. The color is perfect.
My only negative is that it doesn’t take a 3 way bulb.

Design is wonderful, colors vivid. Only change I would make would be a cream colored shade rather than white.

Very happy with these lamps, they look great on nightstands next to queen bed. The only drawback is that the lampshade could sit a little higher on the lamp, but it doesn’t distract.

Very pleased with the lamp. It goes perfectly in my living area and the size is right for reading.
