The shade has an opening on top, does it give off enough light to the ceiling? I need a pendant that gives from top and bottom for kitchen bar!

Looks to be a drop wire. Is there an option to get a metal shaft?

Does it bother you that the base of the bulb is not hidden behind the top of the shade?

Cute pendant lights
We installed these lights in our newly remodeled kitchen. They look great. They do show dust because they are black, but we love the look. We did not install them, so I can’t tell if they were easy or not. They came quickly. Lamps Plus has been great to work with, although they do not have any discounts or coupons. So no bargains if you are looking for a great deal, but the quality is there?

I really like the lamps. I put LED bulbs in and it works better because the shades don't get hot.
