Just like what was depicted!
The light was just installed, so I'm not sure how it will hold up to our winter weather (will find out soon), but seems well made. I'm not positive how to change the light bulb. I think from the top, but there were no instructions on how that should happen. I did not install this myself, but my contractor said that the top should unscrew to allow the light bulb to be changed.

Glass rattles a lot anytime there is wind.
Love these lights. The style is beautiful. I bought several types in this same style. The only drawback is that the glass fits loosely and rattles when there is any wind which is annoying but none have cracked yet

Great light
Great light but installation instructions lack a detail, fails to tell you what size drill bit you need for the supplied anchors. After the lights were installed , they really look great

Amazing pier mounted lamps
I like this pier mounted lamps. They’re very nice built. Strong metal the way that the glass is installed is excellent. I highly recommend this product. Quality of craftsmanship

Beautiful lamp
The light fixture is substantial. It is not cheap, lightweight metal. The glass is beautiful, interesting color - seeded gold. It mounted on our pillar easily.

Beutiful post lamp, but the quality control is lacking. Two lamp, the glass did not fit (to large), one lamp was welded and glass could not be installed. Lamps Plus sent new glass and the other fixture will be replaced. Thank you!

Great looking lamp, not true to its color
The lamp is beautiful, however, Hickory walnut is not bronzie looking at all, it looks black. So if you’re looking for more of a brown tone, don’t get the walnut because it looks nothing like the picture.

Excellent value pier lights for my patio column, low-voltage application. Hoping the steel materials hold up long-term to Midwest climate.
I ordered 4 of the pier lamps for my patio columns. For the price, I'm largely pleased with them - they're a good value. Pros: can't beat the price - the value is there, the pier light is well designed - it was almost exact to the design concept in my wife's mind, the collection has several coordinating pieces for walls and porch lights. Cons: most of the material appears to be steel (the cap is some sort of resin) as I do see some rust developing where the horizontal bars meet the frame, Longevity is questionable due to the steel, the lamp is made with sheet metal not forged/cast.
I don't regret the purchase at all, and really hope that my investment in this collection pays off and gives me a long 20+ year run. I bought 8 pieces in total.
Build tips: some of the pier lights have slots at the bottom underneath a square, screw on strip. When I first received the lights, there was no mention of these slots in the paper instructions that came with the light. Suggest that as you slide the glass into the slots, use gravity as your friend and slide glass into the side resting on the work surface, secure the glass (use a little silicon caulk to secure the glass at the top - recommended if you don't want to here the glass tinkling from motion whenever there is a light wind). If you slide it into the slot on the sides or the slot closest to you looking down and the glass panel slips, you will likely break the glass because it will drop down.... to that point, if you need to order replacement glass, make sure that you order using the part number in the packing list. For whatever strange reason, the manufacturer uses a glass that is an 1/8 inch wider for its wall light and it will not fit into the slots of the pier light. One or two of my pier lights didn't come with the slots, and the glass had to be installed from the top. There must have been a design change during my order time frames.
Lastly, application: I used 12 gauge low voltage wire and a Hampton Bay 12V transformer connected to my wall outlet to power these. I connected the black leads to the positive and negative wires, and did not connect the lamp's ground wire since it was a low voltage landscape application. Additionally, I connected a WeMo smart plug ($20-30 on Amazon) to the transformer plug into the wall outlet to give the setup a Smart function that I use to switch the patio lights from my phone or Amazon Echo. I ordered low voltage, LED bulbs from Amazon (Chichinlighting 2 Pack Low Voltage Bulbs 12v LED E26 LED Bulbs 5w LED 12v Bulb Soft White 3000K 12 Volt Light Bulb 40w Equivalent Off Grid Solar LED Bulbs Rv Camper Marine 12 Volts AC DC Light Bulbs). My combination seems all right and has been operating well for a few months.
If I can figure out how to post pictures on this site, I'll do it.
