I love this lamp! It goes from elegant to beach cottage with a change of fillings and shades. You decide on the look you want. Even with the many pieces that comprise this lamp, it is very well made and solid when you follow the directions. I plan to order another one for the living room as this one is sitting pretty on the Parson's table in our Den.

Bought these for either side of a king bed -- they are large enough to look properly proportioned. Love the straight drum shade and simplicity of overall design. My only complaint is that the nickel finials should be larger -- they are so small that I wonder if they were put in the box by mistake. Otherwise, I love the lamps and feel they have a lot of design qualities for the price.

I've collected sea shells during vacations over the years and they've sat in a box in the closet because I had no way to display them. I filled this lamp with shells all of one color but different shapes - cream colored and then some soft pink shells interspersed. It is on a fun table by a chair. Looks great and I can read! Love it!!!! I know you can fill it with items for a child or holiday items. Easy to open and easy to change it up - but I am a beach girl so shells it is for me!
