LED Bulbs - Replacement in a Snap!
Turning your existing lights and fixtures into energy-efficient LEDs is even easier done than said with LED bulbs! Here's how:
- First, determine what bulb type you're replacing. The most common type is the standard or medium base bulb, but we offer LED replacement bulbs for candle/candelabra bases, halogen and more.
- Next, match the brightness (measured in "lumens") of your new LED bulb to the one you're replacing. To help, we've created a handy watts-to-lumens equivalence chart. Also, please note that not all LEDs can be dimmed, so be sure to look for dimmable LED bulbs if necessary.
- Lastly, choose the color temperature of your new replacement bulb. The 2700-3000K range produces a soft, "warm" light, while higher color temperatures produce a brighter daytime-quality light.
