I purchased 2 of these lamps and love them! I use them as bedside lamps they give great illumination and were so reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone. I don't have any cons that I can say, they reach the outlets with plenty of room to spare, the lighting is great, I do use florescent lighting but I use it all through my house so there isn't a difference to me.

I replaced a smaller lamp for my bedside stand and this one provides much more light. Also, since the base is clear, it appears brighter next to my dark furniture. The only thing I'd change is to put a switch on the cord to make it easier to turn the lamp off without leaning halfway out of bed!

This is a really fun lamp, especially great to use in a room with darker colors to reflect light around the room. Much cheaper than opulent crystal but doesn't look cheap! I do wish it was just slightly taller but otherwise, it is perfect. Again, I watched and waited for the sale, which was a great price!!

I have two of these lamps for bedside lamps. They look great! The feature that makes them great for bedside use is the three-way switch, which makes it possible for my husband or I to read if the other wants to sleep. Some people might not like the linen lamp shade that comes with the lamp because of its slight imperfections. I find those imperfections charming, however, and think that they add a unique look.

This lamp is cute, contemporary and practical. I bought two of them for the nightstand tables in my bedroom. The description is that the lamp shades are white, which they are, however when the lamps are turned on they appear to be an off white and not white at all. They are still cute, yet if you are trying to match with white decor you may want to consider this.
